Guest guest
I just received this little tidbit from the compact group that I am on where people have been talking about composting with worms. I thought it both interesting and then appalling. linda " I've read that worms can safely remove toxic substances from the soil which is one of the amazing jobs they do. Now industry has figured out how to use worms to clean up toxic land, but I shuddered at how they do it. They grind the worms up and spray onto the site. Something about the enzymes in the worm bodies neutralizing the substances. "
