Well I joined this list just now hoping to find some good, healthy

things to cook for my family, and I see deep fried pickles, french

fries with gravy, and twinkies... Sounds good! Just kidding, of

course, the thought of deep fried pickles didn't do any good for my

rum-filled tummy just now. :) Anyway, here's my intro post:

My name is Kadee, I live near St. Louis with my husband Jeff, 2 1/2

y/o daughter Leah, 1 1/2 y/o son Jeffery Jr., dogs Lucy and Fancy,

rats Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Pachebel, and Fillmore, and mice Vivaldi,

Schubert, and Brahms. Whew! And we're getting more soon... :) The

first of this month made 10 years I've been a vegetarian- big

" wooooo! " for that one, I'm very proud of myself! I'm 23, so that's

nearly half my life, plus part of it was spent in a Texas high school,

which makes me one brave soul. :) I'm great at cooking things I know

how to cook, and my husband is really getting burned out on the few

things I make well. So here I am, about to search the files for good

stuff to feed to that picky boy. He's only a vegetarian at home since

the only meat allowed in the house is for the dogs, so I have to try

and make things extra good or he'll go into how good his mom's gumbo

is... crazy cajun! So anyway, I've read through today's digest, this

seems like a fun group, so hello to all and I'm going to look for some

goodies in the files. :)
