Dear Christie and Marilyn et all,

Cha Ching! ....... :)

I finally got a tin of " black beans (in salted sauce) " , Amoy Brand, from a

Chinese Supermarket called Loon Fung on the North Circular Road near Hanger

Lane in London :)

This is the closest I got(so far) nearest to the black beans that I am

looking out for.

So near and yet so far, ha, lol :)

I don't give up easily and will keep on looking out for it.

I am never tired looking out when it comes to making " good food " :)

" When there's a will, there is a way " :)

" Never give up on a good thing " ...who sings this song, Donna ? :)

Best Wishes,

Wee

London...

Thank you for going to all the trouble of asking your friend,

Marilyn. I think my post to Wee must have been misleading. The black- eyed

peas are not the problem. It was black beans which Wee was

looking for in tins and which I have been unable to locats, except

in dried form.

Christie.

I'm guessing those are the Asian fermented black soy beans. Maybe.
