Guest guest
Hi Linda, The wonderful Amy turned me onto the Garlic Twist. For some time I had diced/minced garlic by knife as I had just had enough of the garlic press which presses it in every direction but the correct one and is a pain in the rump to clean. Chopping didn't hinder my garlic habit, however the garlic twist has definitely enabled it. I use more garlic now simply because it is faster and easier with the twist. My first couple of twists were a bit tough but I've gotten accustom to the thing. It takes some hand muscles but it is nothing now and I dont do it the easy way by crushing the garlic first. You do have to peel and cut big garlic bulbs in half and you cannot throw in 5 bulbs at a time. So you may be doing a couple of twists in the kitchen - just grab a partner, dosado and promenade. The best part is the cleanup. I just rinse and that is it. No digging in there trying to get out peels through holes in a press. Quick rinse and the little that is left just flushes out. Any questions on it just feel free to ask. There is a picture of mine in the photos section. Mine is clear but they come in other colors. S. Guest guest
Are you speaking about moi? Me are you speaking about? Well, I suppose I will have to buy it since you have offered to pay for it. Getting to put more garlic in my food sounds wonderful...of course my daughter is going to find you and twist your head in the garlic twister and feed you to the cats of course. I will save at least one day's worth of food on them. <grinning evilly> linda (with the little l) " subprong " <subprong > Hi Linda, > > The wonderful Amy turned me onto the Garlic Twist. Guest guest
Hi linda with the little " l " . If your daughter can fit me into the garlic twist then she is more talented beyond the intelligence acquired through your homeschooling. I have a feeling that we can convert her over to the garlic side though. Us garlicheads shall conquer and unite as one ginormous garlic head. First things first though - how and when shall I start secretly slipping hot peppers into your entrees in order to build up your tolerance of 'em.... S.
