Guest guest
No question is a dumb question:) I have always assumed that all carob is dairy free~ I know the Chatfield brand is. Can you ask the store what brand of carob they carry in bulk? I buy Chatfield (says Dairy Free) it runs me $3.95 12oz bag....Just Fyi:) Is that expensive? I dunno, not for my occasional cravings that send me to my secret stash in the back of the cabinet....just a couple at a time:0) steffdav46 <steffdav46 wrote: I think that I already know the answer to this question but I'll ask anyways. I really love carob. The only carob chips that I find in the stores here are either in bulk (no ingredient labels) or ones that specifically say that they are vegan and are really expensive. The bulk carob chips are made with dairy...aren't they? Stef
Guest guest
That isn't a dumb question at all. i think the only way to be certain of it would be to ask one of the store clerks that works in the bulk bin area. They should be able to find out for you. That is one peeve of mine about bulk bins, when they don't list the ingredients of the product on the bin label. With so many people out there with food allergies and sensitivities, you'd think the stores would be more considerate. ~ pt ~ If there are any gods whose chief concern is man, they cannot be very important gods. ~ Arthur Clarke ~~~*~~~*~~~> > steffdav46 <steffdav46 wrote: I think that I already know the answer to this question but I'll > ask anyways. Mine has them, but you only see them when you lift the lid (they're on the underside/back of the item label).
