Guest guest
I use raw sugar in the mix and I roll cookies in turbinado, if you use turbinado in a no bake cookie it will be too large a grain and I doubt it would work. I have never used Sucanat for anything, I don't even know what it is. I love my sugar, superfine, white, brown, dark brown, raw organic and turbinado. Guest guest
I bake and cook with Turbinado " Sugar in the Raw " all the time. I use the same ratio of what they call for in white sugar. Comes out great every time. I don't use sugar substitutes, so can't help you out in that regard. Judy - aust4freng Saturday, September 16, 2006 6:28 PM speaking of no-bake cookies last year I tried making some with Sucanat rather than sugar. They did not come out right. Has anyone else had success using turbinado sugar or Sucanat rather than sugar? What am I doing wrong?
