Guest guest
QOTW [question of the week] for March 12th - 18th: Spring is just around the corner and with this time of year come many different holidays. Some of you may already be observing Lent (Christian & Eastern Orthodox). Just this week on my calendar there is listed Purim (Jewish), Penumoral Lunar Eclipse, Holi (Hindu), and St. Patrick's Day (Christian). Next week for holidays we have Ostara (Pagan/Wiccan), Spring Equinox, and Naw-Ruz (Baha'i & Persian New Year). It is a wonderful time of year for celebrations, which brings me to our question of the week: Do you celebrate any special holidays this spring? If so, are there any special foods or traditional recipes you prepare or eat during your celebrations? Happy Spring! ~ pt ~ With the first rays of the sun on the plant's leaves its ethereal spirit is strong enough to summon our convention-blinded souls to this primitive worship. ~ Llewelyn Powys, 'Earth Memories'
