Guest guest
TTO is a wonderful anti-fungal, which is why it got rid of the ring worm and why it's used for yeast infections and sinus infections It's also a good topical anti-bacterial, hence it works on most pimples because pimples are really little infections. The L-lysine is available in a cream preparation with beeswax, mints and stuff too I am *never* without three essential oils: peppermint, tea tree and lavender meg artichoke72x wrote: > tea tree oil clears up ringworm...i just got rid of my > son's using it. > it clears up warts too, but takes a long time. Guest guest
How would TTO be used for sinus infections? I think I have a sinus infection now and am looking for relief without having to go to the doctor. I usually just let them run their course but if I can find a quicker method of relief that would be great! Thanks in advance. Guest guest
well, only chronic sinus infections. Normal run-of-the mill sinus infections are usually bacteria-related and you need to seek treatment. For chronic sinus issues yeast is very often the culprit after repeated allergy meds, antibiotics and decongestants dont help. You need to cut out the stuff that makes yeast overgrow, like sugar, dairy, caffeine, smoking, etc. Then you need to irrigate your nose somehow. I use a netti pot, which is like a little long-spouted teapot. I fill it with water, table salt (sea salt is too harsh for my nose) and 1 drop (1/2 drop if I can manage it) of TTO per cup of water in the pot. I then irrigate my nose with it. it;s not pleasant, but it helps more than anything I've ever tried. The TTO is an anti-fungal and can help to regulate the yeast in nasal passages. It won't cure the sinus issues because it can't reach the depths of your sinuses, but it does help in my experience. I have a mix of really environmental allergies and I have suffered from constant sinus infections for 7 years. I think I have rebounded from 15 years of allergy shots and medicine switching. I bought the book " Sinus Survival " and started doing the netti pot, cutting out the bad stuff (still working on caffeine, I have decreased my consumption by 75%) and I've started a homeopathic tablet by natra bio. to treat my allergies I use OTC claritin in double the dose (yes, with doc's advice). I dont know if claritin is vegetarian or not. Meg Misty Rionach wrote: > How would TTO be used for sinus infections?
