Guest guest
Maybe I will get a small bunch then today to try for the first time. If I hate it...I will be coming to see you, armed and dangerous with the left overs. I can steam it? linda - Shelly linda, Cilantro salad is so good! I tried chard tonight for the first time and it was very good raw and super delicious cooked. An article I read said that chard is a type of beet that only the leaves and stem are used. Guest guest
I thought it was interesting to see on this site that chard has a lot of sodium. Good to know. 313 per cooked cup. I'll try it anyway. LOL After my kale. I like pretty, so maybe I'll just put it in a vase. linda Shelly LOL Oh, no! Visitors bearing food! I mean, oooo, I'm scared! Here's a page about it... http://www.wholehealthmd.com/refshelf/foods_view/1,1523,140,00.html I got a bunch called Rainbow chard but I don't think there is one variety called that. I think what I got is the red and regular varieties mixed. I recommend the red - it's very pretty! Shelly
