Guest guest
Hey....I don't have the books yet. Haven't even ordered them. They are trying to talk me into getting a couple mysteries that I have looked at before today. And, oh, yeah, the new coffee pot. Gees, I am not gonna get away cheap here. sue ---- Donnalilacflower 09/10/06 17:08:49 Re: cookbooks Sue hahaha you will now be set to make some fast, quick, tasty, delicious vegetarian meals, and then you have all the recipes in our files to us also. Guest guest
I have all of these. The one I like is Favorite Brand Name Vegetarian Cooking, I believe I recommended that for vegetarian beginners last month. Lots of pictures, easy to find ingredients and some comfort foods in there. You will enjoy all of those. Donna --- Sue <kup wrote: > Ok, I went to my library. There had two vegetarian > cookbooks. Guest guest
Yup! I think you did recommend that one. And I sure want to have pictures. I would hate to make something and have it look terrible. LOL....someone said that the recipe for tofurky on Allrecipes looks like a brain. I would hate to have that happen. Guest guest
Oh no! Too funny, LOL you know I cook from most cookbooks that don't have pictures. I'm big on visualization. I'd rather make and create. Donna --- Sue <kup wrote: > Yup! I think you did recommend that one. And I > sure want to have pictures. > I would hate to make something and have it look > terrible. Guest guest
Well, you have been around most of the ingredients. There are things I have never heard of....like falafel. (how does one pronounce that anyway?) I want to know what they look like. It would be a disaster if I didn't have some idea what it looked like. I mentioned that I was going to TRY to make lentil loaf tomorrow night. Does it look somewhat like meat loaf? Does it slice. How is it cold?
