Guest guest
LOL OK now we are on the same wavelength. I thought you wanted to know about New Years so I was going to answer the wrong one. Let's see. I get a couple Quorn vegetarian loaves, they are delish, I make cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and a bunch more things. I started my list yesterday when Amy was here, we made the zucchini mini boats to go with lunch, I have to post the recipe and what a wonderful appetizer or side dish they are. She and I have the same cookbook so she didn't have to bring hers up. I just took pear bread out of the oven, for sure this will go along with Thanksgiving dinner. Guest guest
I had to go look up Quorn, as I had never heard of them before. And I found where they are sold closest to me. Guest guest
We do a Mexi-American potluck. There will be some meatless tamales, I will take a Quorn roast with me so there are enough things I can enjoy. We have refried beans and also mashed potatoes. I like to take a surprise recipe from the files, everyone enjoys those. Since there are so many people over we do more or less a potluck style and I'm not sure what's on the menu yet. Guest guest
I love the idea of a " surprise " recipe. But, then most of my recipes tend to be a surprise. Guest guest
Yes it sure is disgusting. I'm making a Quorn and stuffin' on the side with a good gravy, I used one from the files last year. Was a mushroom gravy but Diane's sounds good so I have printed it out to try.
