Guest guest
I also have asthmas and allergies to everything. I think the caffeine of coffee, dark choc. works like the bronchial dilator meds. if you're short of breath a cup of coffee may help in a pinch, but I don't necessarily think asthmatics need to consume caffeine regularly. I would like to be off meds. but it doesn't seem possible for me right now...too many allergines in this part of the country for me to maintain without...but I have definitely used caffeine to help, when I have taken all the medicine I can. Can't remember if it was in another post, but omega oils are supposed to help with the inflammation as well, fish oil if you are willing, or flax and walnuts... melissa p , " greatyoga " <greatyoga wrote: > > Here's what I did. i take no medicines now and have not for over 30 > years. > > Stop eating foods with chemicals > Stop eating white flour and white sugar > Eat garlic and ginger > Do yoga > Breathing exercises > Meditation > > GB > > , Cheryl <starborn59@> > wrote: > > > > It was mentioned that caffeine helps asthma - anyone > > have experience with other things that help? Guest guest
Melissa, I think you are right to do this in a pinch. It can help in a pinch. Regularly, it is not so good. It would act somewhat like mau huang. Regularly, it takes a toll on the parasympathetic nervous system. GB , " Melissa " <mapalicka wrote: > > I also have asthmas and allergies to everything.
