Guest guest Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 OYSTER CRACKER SNACK 1 pkg. oyster crackers 1/2 pkg. dry Hidden Valley Dressing 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper 1/8 tsp. garlic salt or powder 1/2 tsp. dill weed 1/3 c. oil Mix dry ingredients with crackers. Add oil and shake til all crackers are coated. Let set for at least 30 min. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dilly Lemon Munch (this is not my recipe, was posted here and is darn tasty) 2 quarts popcorn popped in 1/4 cup of oil 2 tablespoons shredded lemon peel 1 teaspoon dill weed Optional: 1/2 teaspoon low-sodium salt Toss popcorn with lemon peel and dill weed. Flavor enhances as popcorn stands. If you use a butter/unbutter spray, you can add lemon juice right to the bottle. Yield: 2 quarts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Taco Popcorn Olé 8 cups air-popped popcorn Butter flavored nonstick cooking spray 1 t. chili powder 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. garlic powder 1/8 t. cayenne pepper (optional) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Place popcorn in single layer in prepared pan. Coat lightly with cooking spray. Combine spices in small bowl, sprinkle over popcorn. Mix lightly to coat evenly. Bake 5 minutes or until hot, stirring gently after 3 minutes. Spread mixture in single layer on large sheet of aluminum foil to cool. Make 8 1-cup servings.
