Guest guest
I haven't heard this. It makes sense. That first time I handled cilantro I couldn't stand the smell on my hands, the taste was strange but after I started using it a little more I grew to love it. I know we eat lots of avocados here in LA and many times someone from another state who isn't used to eating them except maybe a guacamole where it's already mixed, will really get the creeps from the texture of avocado by itself. Smell and texture probably play a big part too. Donna Paula <paulakward wrote: I can't think of one single vegetable I've tried that I won't eat. To me, they're all good. But, this reminds me of an article I read awhile back about the fact that some people are more sensitive to bitter or other unusual tastes. It's an extra perception they have in their taste buds, or something like that. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Sorry if someone else has mentioned this already-- still trying to catch up on digests...LOL! Guest guest
Hi Donna, It's coming back to me now--these people are called " super tasters " . I agree with you that smell and texture also play a big part! Paula , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > I haven't heard this. It makes sense.
