Guest guest
This recipe is very delicious and so simple to make. i hope you enjoy it as much as i do. Sesame Seed Asparagus 1 pound fresh asparagus 2 Tbs. sesame seeds 1 Tbs. raw sugar 2 Tbs. soy sauce 1 tsp. garlic powder Wash and cook asparagus with a pinch of sea salt, until tender-crisp and a bright green color, (about 5 minutes). Do not overcook. Cut into diagonal slices. Drain and chill. Parch sesame seeds in a covered saucepan over medium- low heat until seeds begin to pop. Do not overheat as seeds will become bitter. Grind or mash seeds to bring out flavor and fragrance. Make a sweet sauce of sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder and parched sesame seeds. Pour sauce over asparagus and toss lightly. Note: You may also use spinach, cauliflower, broccoli or green beans with this marinade.
