This is an East Indian snack. If done properly it si crunchy and

sweet. Try it its very simple and delicious.

1 lb flour

4 tbsp condensed milk

2 oz margarine

What to do?

Combine ingredients and add enough water for a stiff and hard dough.

(remember you can always add water but you cant take it away so add

a little at a time)

Roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut in strips . cut these

strips into 2 inch pieces

Fry in hot oil.

Pour syrup over kurma and turn untul crystalized

SYRUP

2 cuos granulated (white) sugar and 1/2 c water boiled until

thickened to a syrup
