I made these this evening and my daughter gobbled it up.

Honey wheat rolls

 

Ingredients

 

water 7/8 c.

 

egg 2

 

honey 3 Tbsp.

 

salt 1 1/2 tsp.

 

butter or margarine 3 Tbsp

 

All purpose flour 1 1/3 c

 

whole wheat flour 2 c

 

Wheat germ 1/3 c

 

Bulgur (cracked wheat) 1/3 c (already presoaked)

 

Yeast 2 tsp.

 

I make the dough in my bread machine (2 lb loaf size). Should make

18-24 rolls. Place rolls in muffin tins. Cover and let rise in

warm oven 20-30 minutes until doubled in size (Warm oven – turn on

warm setting for 1 minute and turn off. Remove before preheating)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 12 minutes until brown.

Remove from oven and serve warm.
