Nice to see you posting.

Thank you for first hand info. I had a feeling it was bad and this is worse,

I used to see KFC everywhere. I don't think it's as popular around here

anymore. I see more Subways, and soft taco stands, one makes a vegan/vegetarian

soft taco with black beans, rice, lettuce, cheese if you want, cilantro, onions

and homemade salsa for $1 each. I'll grab one of those if I'm out.

Unfortunately, I used to work at KFC when I was in high school. There is NOTHING

vegetarian about their gravy. After cooking the chicken in the hot oil, they

drain it and save the drippings (for lack of another term) to make their gravy.

 

And because I never really introduced myself, our whole family is vegetarian. We

live in Allen, TX. My three children have never knowingly had meat. My husband

and I have been for about 15 or 16 years. I have printed some of the receipes

and can't wait to try them.
