Guest guest
I'm shocked, I don't care for KFC but I have eaten this due to ntohing else around when on the road. Another reason to make sure I take food along with me. I never trust vegetarian food in the Chinese express line places, I have a feeling many use chick. broth Chelsea , Renee Carroll <renecarol25 wrote: > > I wonder what is wrong with the potato wedges. I used to eat those - I had no idea. I never really paid much attention to what was in foods until I started to go vegan. It really irritates me to know so much of what I took for granted would be vegetarian wasn't. argh. I've been backsliding into non-veganess of late. Just limited food choices in situations. > I only brought up if the KFC Gravy was vegetarian since I wouldn't think it would be and people were talking about eating it and other gravy. > Renee > > Gary Mattingly <gsmattingly wrote: http://www.kfc.com/kitchen/nutrition_sampler_main.htm > <http://www.kfc.com/kitchen/nutrition_sampler_main.htm> > > " Homestyle Gravy - Traditional brown chicken gravy, a > perfect compliment to our mashed potatoes. > Non-Vegetarian Chicken Flavors " > > Interestingeven their potato wedges, green beans > and bbq baked beans are non-vegetarian. Guest guest
you know what is handy? I dont normally do this because I have 4 kids in tow, but when we're in a pinch to get something to eat and nothign is acceptable we'll skip the fast food and go to the grocery store. If nothing else we'll grab some fresh fruit and a baguette to hold us over until we get home. I have the neatest car cooler that helps on longer trips. My son's diet is so restricted that it's a necessity for us. It is softsided and fits between the two front seats of my van. It holds ice in it's own compartment so boxed items don't get soggy. It also had a cord that plugs into the lighter that keeps it cold on long trips. If you take it out of the vehicle the ice keeps everything cool. There are plenty of side pockets for silverware, napkins and whatever else you may need. There is even a sleeve to pack travel games into. it's not huge but it fits enough for the soon to be 7 of us, even half gallons of rice milk stay nice and cool. I bought it new for under $20 on ebay, shipping included! meg

Guest guest
I have started carrying a cooler (large) in the car so that when I'm out am have to stop at grocery store, I can buy stuff and it'll stay cold. I just don't make special trips for stuff anymore with gas being high. We either have it or do without. A plug -in one would be quite nice.
