Guest guest
Here is a yummy French dressing recipe I tried a while back out of a cookbook called Savor the Flavors of Oregon. I added my changes to the recipe I typed below. Enjoy! Sweet & Spicy French Dressing 1/2 cup sugar 1 Tbs. flour 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1 tsp. sea salt 1 tsp. vegetarian Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 cup vegetable oil 1/3 cup catsup 1 tsp. hot sauce 1 tsp. celery seed In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and vinegar; cook over medium heat until mixture bubbles and thickens, stirring constantly. Pour into a blender and add salt, Worcestershire, onion and garlic. Whirl until smooth. With blender still running, add the oil in a steady stream. Then blend in catsup, hot sauce and celery seed. Cover and chill. Yield: 2 cups dressing ~ PT ~ I would like it better if we had a woman president, seven of them, instead of one. ... American Indian, Mexican, Irish, African-American. We need seven women to really represent the United States more from an integrity perspective. ~ Carlos Santana
