Guest guest
I stopped using baking mixes because they were too high in salt. years ago I bought whole wheat baking mix - I think it was Hodgkis (? sp) Mills. I found it in the baking and natural foods sections of the market. Dawn , " Sue " <kup wrote: > > Is there such a thing as a whole wheat baking mix.....like Bisquick? I don > t use white flour. Guest guest
You can just make your own and put it in a big jar. I think someone sent arecipe for it a couple of months ago. Basically all you need is i tsp. baking powder to each cup of flour. Add baking soda if you are using something sour. Then add liquids and oils. I don't use salt but add that proportionately to the mix. GB , " Sue " <kup wrote: > > Is there such a thing as a whole wheat baking mix.....like Bisquick? I don > t use white flour.
