Guest guest
Dear Christie, I can go out to meet you in Hemel Hampstead, if that's OK with you. But if time is too tight for you, I completely understand. Only it must be the weekend as I have used up most of my holidays You got me interested now and I am going to seek out Tiger white. I have a gut I can easily be entice into going vegan for better health. Yeah, I completely agree with you that time has certainly change. We have all come a long way and are more educated now than the previous generation. It is fair to say that our next generation will be even more updated than we are now. I was just surmising Aw, I missed that IQ tests I was thinking of watching it but ended up painting my new gates It's fun to watch game shows and pretty addictive too, lol Big Hugs your way, Wee On Behalf Of christie_0131 04 September 2006 22:53 Re: **** Question of the week **** Christie Hi Wee It is still a few weeks before I go to Spain - next week I am working in Dundee. Then I go to visit my Dad in Hemel Hempstead and after that I go to Spain. Unfortunately I am flying to Luton and then from Stansted and not Heathrow, or I would have come to visit you. Yes I will miss Hill Station cardamom ice cream. I may have to buy myself a tub of that this week! I have a recipe for vegan ice Cream which I must try. I found Tiger White in the Health Food Shop. I prefer the unsweetened one. I need to try cooking with it when I get back from my holiday. Here is the website which explains what it is: www.tigerwhitedrinks.com When I became vegetarian it was still pretty unusual in Britain. I never heard of another vegetarian until I went to college and even then there were only 6 of us in a college of about 400. Everyone said I would be ill if I didn't eat meat and being vegetarian really wasn't understood so I don't blame my mum for her attitude. I am so pleased that things have changed here in the last 38 years. Did you see the National IQ test on TV on Saturday? There were a number of different groups of people taking part - celebrities, estate agents, vegetarians, butchers etc. The vegetarians came out on top and the person with the highest IQ on the show turned out to be one of the vegetarians. YAY! Christie
