Guest guest Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 Kielbasa Bean Crockpot Soup 8 cups of vegetable broth 6 oz dry pinto beans 6 oz dry yellow or green split peas or lentils 3 vegetarian kielbasa sausages cut in rounds (Yves brand) 4 medium carrots, chopped 3 medium celery, stalks, chopped 1 large onion, chopped 1 or 2 minced garlic cloves 1 tsp thyme 1 (14 1/2) oz can diced tomatoes, undrained Mix all ingredients, except kielbasa rounds, in a 5 to 6-quart crockpot. Cover and cook on low-heat setting at least 6 hours or until beans are tender. Stir in kielbasa rounds; cover and cook on high-heat setting for 45 more minutes., Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments.
