Guest guest
I saw the pictures on the site you sent and the No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies. I couldn't find the recipe for them though under desserts on the feral site, but then it could be there right in front of my nose...but my eyes are still rolling around on the floor. How can I find that recipe or are you going to cough it up for me? linda
Guest guest
Hi Linda. I performed a search at the group site and voila! My changes (minimal) are in the message. I am going to make more of these this weekend. I'm thinking about trying sweet coconut milk and adding in chopped peanuts along with the pb (for more texture)(maybe even some cayenne for a bit of a kick). If you or anyone else have any idears or try something different, please let us know. I hope ya found your eyeballs, Linda! I'll put warnings before the pic links! S. ---- These things are really really really good. I mean they have to be - scroll down and look at the ingredients. Yah exactly. These don't really have the consistency of cookies. More of a fudgy type of thing. Crazy good (and I'm not really a sweets type of person). I ended up adding half a teaspoon each of vanilla and almond extract and I used dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. What I really like is that this is a really good base to mix and match ingredients for different batches in the future (peanuts, coconut, pecan, raisans) - and I'll definitely be making other batches. Thank you thank you, Lorri! S. No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies These no-bake cookies are made with oats and chocolate, along with optional peanut butter and other ingredients. Scroll down to see more no bake cookie recipes. INGREDIENTS: 4 ounces butter or margarine 1/2 cup milk 2 cups sugar 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 3 to 4 tablespoons peanut butter, optional 3 cups oats, quick or old-fashioned 1 teaspoon vanilla extract PREPARATION: Place chocolate chips, peanut butter (if used), oats, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Combine the margarine, milk, and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute. Combine the hot mixture with the oatmeal and chocolate chip mixture; stir well. Susie probably hasn't had time to file them seeing as how she has to rewire the hand me down crockpots that you and PT are suggesting to her. Har-dee-har-har. Btw, here is another one that PT filed awhile back if interested... Chocolate Oatmeal No-Bakes 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup butter 1/3 cup cocoa pwdr 3 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup shredded coconut (I have just added oatmeal in place of this when I was out before, and it worked rather nicely in a pinch) 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla extract Combine the sugar, milk, cocoa pwdr, and butter in a saucepan. Boil 2 full minutes, stirring constantly (very important). Remove from heat and add the rest of the ingredients. Drop on waxed paper to cool. Makes about 30 cookies unless you have faeries in the house... as they can magickally disappear right under your nose. ~ P_T ~ And no > dear!!!!!!! I have not found my eyeballs thanks to you. Warnings would be > good but being a day late isn't helping now. The sun is out here right now > and I have sun glasses on myself and all of the cats and dog. But more importantly, do you " wear your sunglasses at night " ? That song will be stuck in my head all night now. LOL. S.

Not only am I going to be living on skid row from poverty I will weigh so much I can't get around thanks to you and PT. And yes, I am wearing the glasses at night and I have you to thank which means that I am feeling no sorrow for your having something stuck in your head. Be grateful it isn't an arrow stuck in your head...or a nail from a nail gun. ouch <grinning> linda " subprong " <subprong > But more importantly, do you " wear your sunglasses at night " ?
