Holy Toledo, Batgirl!! FIVE packs a day?? I thought I was bad at 1 pack a

day. (I quit in 1990). and most of those got left to burn down in the ashtray in

the back room of the bar where I worked. AmyF (who is glad you quit, after

watching my dad die of lung cancer I wouldn't wish that on anyone.) I hope

that isn't too bad to post.

That was the big thing. Food tasted so wonderful after I quit. I quit a 5

pack a day habit in June 1998 cold turkey and never looked back!!

Yep, that's me. Brad and I'm still tobacco smoke-free

and I owe it to this group. I didn't think I could

master it.

Miss them everyday but I have a lot more stamina

playing sports and man, does food ever taste good.

Even just a simple p/b sandwich.

They tested me a month after I quit, for surgery, and I tested like a

non-smoker. Please everyone. Give it a try for your own health!!!
