Guest guest
Ok...the curried lentil bisque was one of the dehydrated meals from Mary Jane~ I needed something quick....got home @ 7, dinner at 7:30:) Funny though.....it will suddenly spark the desire to go for a long hike in Rocky Mountain Natl Park(the last time I had a dehydrated meal was there:)) But it was REALLY tasty for a meal in a bag, and totally organic! Not really a BIG hit with the kids....but hey...it made them eat more salad(heeheehee) So anyway.....no recipe~ just improvisation. Guest guest
Hello Monica, nice to meet ya'. What a great site! Added to my favs, the selections sound delish and not that pricey, downright cheap compared to anything organic where I live! (small town Texas)Now if I can just decide what to try first......................... peace, Angela who I am is fine, it's just this body that's disabled! middle age = that time of life when we realize yesterday's sex, drugs and rock and roll are todays memories, prescriptions and golden oldies! I will have to try it - I will often buy dehydrated foods soI can try to replicate them in my own dehydrator, for hiking (it's cheaper if I can make it myself). Go hike! :-)
Guest guest
Hi Monica! Thanks for posting and sharing that wonderful link. i had never heard of them before, but i know i will enjoy looking through it more. i can also add it into our group's links reference page. Your household sounds a lot like mine, and also like Gayle's. We have different diets and ways of eating, but we all get along by showing tolerance towards eachother. Guest guest
HI PT and Monica: Yes I would have to say tolerance is very important. The thing that always amazes me is that when I say I am vegetarian people become very defensive. Personally I don't care what anyone else eats, just let me eat the way I want to. I even work at a non vegetarian restaurant. I never force my way of eating on people... However if I am going to someone's house for dinner I always offer to bring something vegetarian and always bring enough incase people want to try it.
