Guest guest
Hi Brad, Spelt is a gluten free wheat substitute grain that has been around since about 5000BC according to what I read. Triticale is a manmade hybrid of rye and wheat. Since until fairly recently(10yrs?), most Americans only ate white bread unless they baked their own, very few farmers grew them. Even with the advent of the home bread machine, most people were still using Gold Medal All Purpose flour. You can usually only find them and other " unusual " whole grains and flour at health/natural food stores or online. Janis , " surfboard_bedboard " <surfboard_bedboard wrote: > > Curious here.
