Guest guest Posted August 12, 2006 Report Share Posted August 12, 2006 Cucumber Kimchee 1 english cucumber 4 scallions 4 cloves garlic 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp sugar 1 Tbsp Korean hot chile powder 1 Tbsp roasted sesame seeds Julienne cucumber and scallions. sprinkle Salt over, then sugar. This will pickle the cucumber, but in this kimchee recipe you don't rinse the sugar and salt off. That is why you use so little salt. Add garlic, chile powder and sesame seeds.
