We all come into contact with people who are not

on the same path as we are following right now.

That doesn't make them stupid, or idiots and the

best way i have found to help educate people

towards the vegetarian path is through kindness,

understanding, and sharing with them delicious

recipes. i feel we all have much to learn from

eachother. i learn things and find a source of

encouragement on my path from people who are

not vegetarians yet but are openminded, enthusiastic,

and curious. Its all good! Every person who is trying

to be better is doing their part to make the world

a nicer place to live. :)

i hope you are feeling better today, Mel. i am sorry the

Ides of March and PMS got you down yesterday.

My hope and prayer for you is that you will feel good

and have a bright happy outlook on life today. :)

Here is something i enjoy reading in the mornings

before i go out to face the world:

~ * The Optimist Creed * ~

Promise Yourself :

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace

of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person

you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something

worthwhile in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your

optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and

to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you

are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater

achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile

to every living creature you meet.

To give so much time to improving yourself that you have

no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for

fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the

world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.

To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side,

so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

in our hearts that even though we are different,

you are like me and I am like you. "

Thank you so much for posting this, PT. I read your post on the bus

yeasterday when I was in a particularly " glass half-empty " state of

mind and it really helped, so I'm saving it to my PPC for similar

moments.
