Guest guest
They don't like ginger, cloves or allspice. Maybe I will quit cooking? Nah! That would be cutting off my nose to spite my face. It was mentioned about cinnamon so I am going to try that. Also, I was reading some recipes at the book store...don't remember which book though...about adding Hershey's Cocoa...you know the unsweetened powder form. It is vegan is my understanding. Anyway, the description of it suggested adding some to recipes for an added taste. I did that today for the tomato sauce I was making to go onto an enchilada pie so to speak. And I added some Sucanat too which I usually do anyway. I only put in a tablespoon of the cocoa and it really was nice to about 2 cups of sauce. I think that the next time I will add more though. Just think, the box said I got my antioxidants. Thought I would mention this if anyone else is using it too and has some ideas. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. To my palate, cloves are closest... but then for them that might not be a good choice.
