Boil for about 10 to 15 minutes. After cleaning, coat cookware with grease to recondition and prevent rusting. Guest guest Posted September 9, 2006 Report Share Posted September 9, 2006 After I clean mine, I pour in some salt to cover the bottom, and then spray Pam or other oil spray, instead of using veggie oil or olive oil in it.
