Guest guest
Let us know what you think of the paprika. Many of us are now addicted to it. You think cardamom taste like cinnamon? I use them together, you can't use as much cardamom as you do cinnamon, that taste will over power. To me they compliment one another in baking but I don't think they taste anything alike. I love the scent, I try to only crush as use, it becomes weak when ground and bottled. There are some studies that suggest that Cinnamon irrates the nerves endings, so Cardamom is a good safe alternative with a similiar flavor. Judy Stay in the know. Pulse on the new .com. Guest guest
They taste similar to me and I substitute it in recipes all the time... I still use cinnamon some though on some things, like cinnamon rolls and cinnamon toast. I like to put whole cloves and whole cinnamon sticks with some hot water in my simmering potpourri mini crock pot. Oh it makes the house smell so good. I sometimes add apple slices to it also. That smell always reminds me of fall... I have never ground fresh cardomom pod before. I always use the pre- ground bottled kind. I'll let you know what I think of the paprika when I try some of it on a food dish soon. I was glad to find it.
