Guest guest
Jeanne-I have quite a few cookbooks I haven't used. You know allcookbooks seem to be good but I think some are better given to oethers that will use them. Amy in San Diego gave me a great Chinese vegetarian cookbook, she's never cooked anything out of it and I have flagged 15 pages of must tries so far. I really think you will love the Native Foods cookbook. The restaurant is packed non-stop and the food is delicious. Everything I've made from it is fantastic and I love the names she gives her recipes too. Donna BJ <pinemeadows wrote: Okay, ENOUGH ALREADY! PT and Donna - it's 3:42 a.m. here, and because of your recommendations, I just went back to Amazon and added this book to my order. Now I sure hope it gets my attention more often than the rest of the bunch of new vegan cookbooks setting around here. (They all are just fine, really, there's only so much cooking you can do for 2 people!) Everything you have posted from her book sounds wonderful though....so I'll let you know! You guys are such teases. And by the way, try sprinkling the gomasio on regular steamed brown rice a la macrobiotic cooking....it is really good. I ate it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner when I tried macro eating a few years ago. Never did get tired of it either! Jeanne >>>>>>>> Here is another treasure from out of the Native Foods Cookbook. Give it a try and then sprinkle this on your veggies for a little taste of heaven on earth. Then BUY THE BOOK! *lol* Tanya Petrovna is a vegetarian goddess.
