Bhaiganee Bhaiganee (pie made with eggplant (melongene) Indian dish made in Trinidad during the Indian festival known as Divali. 1 recipe phulowrie batter 1 eggplant Oil for frying ¼ cup flour – salt and black pepper added To Make Bhaiganee: Slice eggplant in ¼ inch slices. Coat slices with the seasoned flour then pat phulowrie batter onto both sides. Fry in hot oil until cooked on both sides. Drain on napkins/paper towels. Enjoy!
