Some recent new news regarding meat contamination & new flavors of veg burgers

I have been reading about the posts about them making crock pots

differently than in the past because of contamination. Well, my

grandmother read an article yesterday in The Gainesville Sun about some

packages of meat now being contaminated by carbon monoxide that they

put in the sealed packages of meat. It supposedly is to make the meat

look fresher looking. Maybe this will help me get some of my family

more into eating veggie burgers more oftern. So there might be a whole

new issue surrounding the meat in America now. Glad that I'm a

vegetarian. Also, has anyone tasted the new veggie burgers by Morning

Star Farms. They have a whole new line of burgers. I've tried the

Cheddar and the ones called Basil with Pizza. I might try the Spicy

Bean ones later this year. So far the cheddar ones have completely sold

out at my local supermarket with the Basil with Pizza ones next in

line. Even one of the supermarkets in town is promoting the eating of

veggie burgers over regular burgers. I personally think supermarkets

promoting vegetarian food is a great thing.
