Guest guest Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 Baked Bananas 4 medium-size ripe, yet firm bananas 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon grated lemon or orange peel 1/2 cup orange juice or rum 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, cut into small pieces Heat oven to 350 degrees. Peel bananas; halve lengthwise, quarter, if desired. Arrange bananas in lightly greased baking dish, sprinkle with sugar, lemon peel and juice. Dot with butter. Bake, basting occasionally with accumulated syrup from dish, 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 4 servings. Calories 192, Fat 3 g, Fiber 1 g. Points 4.
