[recipe] Peachy Champagne

These are delicious. You can use canned peaches just as

easily, but when fresh are in season this is the best. :)

 

Peachy Champagne

 

4 medium size ripe peaches

1/4 cup sugar

2 Tbs. lemon juice

3/4 cup water

1 bottle inexpensive dry champagne

 

Peel, halve and coarsely chop peaches. Place fruit

in a blender with sugar, lemon juice and water.

Blend until puréed. Cover and let refrigerate for up

to 3 hours. To make drinks, pour about 1/4 cup peach

purée into glass; slowly add champagne to top of glass.

Stir to blend. Garnish as desired.

Yield: 10 to 12 servings
