Hi Roxanne,

I don't like foods with preservatives but I feel the

recipes are better than meat. All vegetarian recipes

are accepted. The group isn't vegan, diet or a health

group. Simply a vegetarian cooking group. If a

recipe catches you eye go for it, if not pass it by.

I eat a lot of salt, butter and sugar. I have low

cholesterol, sugar level is normal and my blood

pressure runs extremely low all the time, those 3

ingredients might hurt the next person but I have no

fear of them and I will continue to enjoy what tastes

good to me. My Uncle lived to be 97 and he ate a

stick of butter a day spread on his cookies,my Grandpa

was also 97 and my Gran 87 and they lived on sweets.

It could be genetics, who knows.

If one member eats Rice a Roni and the next eats

steamed rice, that's their choice.

Different strokes for different folks!

There are tons of very healthy recipes posted too.

That's my 50 cents worth.LOL

Have a good one. We love you too..(:- )
