He won, but he still let me have half! *lol*

It was so good [maybe even better] today;

i could eat it cold as a salad.

i LOVE arugula! That would be my choice of greens.

We had a great Italian place back in Oneonta NY called

Sabatini's and they served many dishes on beds of fresh

arugula.

It is so hot here in the summer that i can really only grow

it in the spring and late autumn. i am going to try some in

a flower box this year. i can't seem to find it for sale in stores,

but sometimes i can get a fresh bunch of arugula at the local

farmer's market.

Be kind to thy father, for when thou wert young,

Who loved thee so fondly as he?

He caught the first accents that fell from thy tongue,

And joined in thy innocent glee.

~ Margaret Courtney, poet (1822-1862)

In FL I could only find it in tiny packages with the packaged herbs!

:-( I hope it'll grow better here! Let me know how yours does when

you get it going.
