My name is Caroline and I am must admit that I am a meat eater but joined this group to learn more about vegetarian foods. Besides low iron and benign fibroids, I do not have other health problems and I try to eat right. Because of my low iron, I try to eat alot of dark green vegetables. I just bought some hummus and I hear that it is basically crushed chick peas. I figured hummus with crackers would be a much more healthier snack than crackers and spam *smile*. Does anyone enjoy eating hummus and are there creative ways to include hummus in meals besides only eating it with crackers? Have a great day everyone!
