Guest guest
The group questions of the week [qotw] are: Do you have any special goals for this spring season? [gardening, cleaning, dietary changes, weightloss, exercise, simplifying, etc] Also, this coming Saturday is Earth Day! How do you plan to make it memorable and/or keep the spirit of Earth Day alive in your life throughout the year?
Guest guest
How ever so convenient a question for me. We just moved into our old/new to us house which is on .45 acre with a wonderful back yard. I will be turning it all into food, permaculture, organic, composting, etc. The yard is solely my project. Actually if you think of yard in terms of grass there will only be about a 15' by 15' patch max..They are too care intensive and I don't much care for the taste of grass. I am really excited...fun is to be had by me. doing something I have never been able to do full tilt and now I can. Saturday, Earth Day, we are going down to the celebration and spending the day there learning new things, meeting new people, and enjoying ourselves. And for the rest of the year trying to live my life in alignment with my beliefs. linda " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll > The group questions of the week [qotw] are: > > Do you have any special goals for this spring season? > [gardening, cleaning, dietary changes, weightloss, exercise, > simplifying, etc] > > Also, this coming Saturday is Earth Day! Guest guest
Your QOTW has had me thinking for a few days now. Spring always brings the thought of endless possibility. Working outdoors is a pleasure. I think I would have to say my goals at this point are simplifying in the form of decluttering possessions acquired through the years. It's amazing how stuff builds up, especially for someone who sees future craft use for almost anything! I'm talking about going through closets and the attic and getting things donated where they can be used. We've been recycling, composting etc. for years now. Wish I could go out and buy a hybrid to celebrate Earth Day! lol...maybe someday! Thanks for a thought-provoking question! PS -- also enjoyed reading all the posts on advice to new vegetarians. You guys are great! Thank you so much! Paula
