Guest guest
We're really working on vegetarianism, but somedays I just feel clueless. My dd is having her 10th b-day party this saturday , and I'm trying to think of what vegetarian food I can " serve " /have at the party. She got her comic books from Peta kids and was literally in tears afterwards and has decided she doesn't want to eat meat or wear leather - so she wants to only serve veggie food, and I'm at a bit of a loss. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated!! I've got a few snacks in mind, but also looking for something a little more " substantial " but nothing w/ tofu or tvp as most of the guests are sort of " anti-tofu " . And as a brag - for her b-day she decided she didn't want her guests bringing gifts, she gets a " big " gift from us and her grandparents each year (we're getting her a new bike, grandparents are getting her a desk), so she asked all her guests instead of bring a present for her (which usually gets stuffed in a drawer or closet and goes to waste), she asked everyone to bring dog/cat food or cat litter to be donated to a no-kill shelter in our area! I am so proud of her! --Stacee
