Guest guest
I have frozen rice casseroles, without any adverse affects on the taste. I double wrap the casserole dish with foil and crimp well to seal it. I rewarm it in the microwave first to start the thawing(remove the foil before microwaving and cover with wax paper or parchment paper) and warm the dish before putting into the oven to heat and serve. I've enjoyed the posts and recipes so much already. I thought of a question that someone may be able to answer. Freezing cooked rice and millet ruins them by pulling the water out of the grains. Does anyone know how freeze these cooked grains without ruining them? Bonnie Stay in the know. Pulse on the new .com. Check it out.
