Guest guest
Way back in those days I was in San Francisco and a bottle opened in my purse and got on everything, I was stuck with that scent for weeks and I'll tell you, I love patchouli and use it again but I had to take a very long break from it. The pure oil is dark, almost like a resin and it adheres very well to cloth, skin, the car interior.. It's nice to know you both find comfort in the scent, smells like Grandma........that is precious...Donna , " artichoke72x " <artichoke72x wrote: > > my mom wears patchouli oil. the other day my son and > i were in a store and a lady was wearing it and my son > commented that " she smelled like grandma " . lol. > > every once in a while, i'll put patchouli oil on a > little ceramic lamp ring diffuser...always reminds me > of " home " . > > susie > > --- Donna <thelilacflower wrote: > > > PT, I have worn patchouli essential oil since my > > flower power hippie days. > > I think that's why I enjoy the earthy scent of tea > > tree oil. Guest guest
I think I rather OD'd on it in the late 60s/early 70s too, but now I find it a really grounding oil - whenever I find it hard to get my feet back on the ground I reach for the patchouli, or any tree oils like sandalwood or cedarwood help me to get rooted and able to withstand much of what life flings in my direction.
