Guest guest
Thanks Donna My usual hummus is: 1 15 oz can garbanzos, drained but save the liquid 3 - 5 cloves roasted garlic 2 - 4 Tbs lemon juice, to taste & texture 1 Tbs olive oil 1 Tbs tahini Put the beans and tahini in the food processor. Pulse to break the beans up. Keep the processor running and add bean can liquid to almost the texture you want, then add the lemon juice & olive oil to taste. Add the garlic cloves. Then I added nutrional yeast little bit by little bit until the taste was nice. I had to add a little extra bean liquid and lemon to keep the texture creamy. Also once I added fresh parsley instead of the lemon for a friend who can't have lemon and it turned out pretty good and looked nice too with all the little green flecks in it.
