You are right, Kyrene, being honest is the best

approach. Good for you.

It is always easier dealing with friends and strangers

than it is to deal with family members! *lol* Seems the

people that love us the most, also have a harder time

being nonjudgemental and tolerant of our differences.

My mom is incredibly odd when it comes to food and eating, and her mother is

even worse--highly, highly neurotic. Oh, I do not look forward to when I

visit her and have to tell her that I'm vegetarian. She'll have NO idea

what to cook or make me. She may even sneak me meat and dairy and then

wonder why I complain that my body is bothering me.
