Dont forget those iron supplements as well.... I hope I am not too late in jumping in on this thread. My roommate who is now on Coumadin, has to be careful of what foods she eats so she doesn't clot too easily and counter act her meds. Maybe you need to be aware of those foods as well to help you out. Well, guess what, any dark green veggies is tops on the list. These items are high in Vit K which helps with clotting she isnt allowed ANY! Open your eyes to the other end of the spectrum as well...what CAUSES bleeding or thinning of the blood. Just something else to think about. Hope this helps...its sort of out of the box. ) Maybe this is off the wall but dog gone it, I wish someone would have said something to me a few years back when daily bleeding made me extremely anemic (transfusion severe...ended up with the big histerectomy).
