CB Greens in Tasty Sauce

 

1 head of cabbage cut up any old which way, I coarsely shred mine.

1 bag frozen collard greens, or you could use fresh.

2 tablespoons vegetable Better than Bullion

1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce (I use tamari)

1 1/2 quarts of water

teaspoon of thyme

dash of savory

something to make it spicy, I use a teaspoon of curry paste, use your

judgment, you can add a little red pepper, or a little hot sauce, be careful,

you can always add more, so start slow.

1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes

1 tablespoon ground flax seed *optional

1/8 cup sesame oil

one head of garlic chopped or grated

one large onion grated

 

put cabbage and greens in large pot, add everything except for the flax and

the yeast flakes and oil. Cover and simmer about 35 minutes or so, to your

desired doneness. When finished cooking add the flax seed, the yeast flakes and

the sesame oil.

 

Enjoy over rice or by itself. My family likes it over jasmine rice, even my 9

year old.
