I can say cigarettes took the most will power. It's extremely hard to kick.

Do you know I quitt for 10 years and fell off the wagon for 3 years and now

it's

8 years cigarette free. I had bronchitis all the time and I knew I had to

quit but I loved to smoke.

I still miss it at times. I don't know if that craving will ever completely

go away.

PS quit smoking what seems like millenniums ago, but one thing still makes me

crave it, not alcohol, but coffee, gonna have to give that up, so I figured on

the barley but will try this as well.

Re: Re: Soda Pop -- Poison by the Can - Roma

Alternative for Coffee

Roma is an instant roasted grain hot beverage that is very close to coffee in

taste. Even better in my opinion. You can find it health food stores. You just

add hot water to it. I bet it tastes similiar to what you are talking about.

you know, if you grind barley in a grinder, then dry fry it in a pan to make it

dark brown, then use cheescloth or something comparable in a cup of boiling

water with a few tablespoons, dang it tastes like coffee! and it is also great

for a funky stomach, like from a virus or hangover, not that I know about the

latter, just hear it that's all.

right Paul?
