Guest guest
Thanks for this report, Linda. So I assume the store bought was cheaper than that website? Sounds like it was fresher as well. I'll stick with the store bought. Could you tell me what it said on the bin? ....for, ahem, buying salt in the future of course. Yah...that's the ticket. S. Guest guest
I am going to have to check the price again on what I bought. I think it was $5.69 an ounce. I have to go over there tomorrow so will report back to you what the price was. It was in the bin so will look for you tomorrow. I use it now as a treat after figuring out that it was so terribly expensive. But I won't buy from the place they sent the sample since their salt wasn't nearly as good. Then when we are both broke we can meet on skid row and share stories of our down fall...we will blame it on PT. linda " subprong " <subprong Wednesday, February 15, 2006 11:10 PM Re: celtic sea salt sample > Thanks for this report, Linda. It was in the bin so will look for you tomorrow. LOL - Not if I see you first. I had a small container full and it has lasted me quite awhile and I am now getting low. It just feels better for me to use. Plus the chefs always use them. Ya never see them with a Morton salt cardboard container. I also have a jar of whole and mixed pepper corns I grind that stuff up with a mixer wand thing (in the container). You get a great mix of fine and chunks which is great. The flavor is wonderful too. We'll be on the slummy streets hanging out with the likes of Sebastian Bach and crew. Help help! S.
